Birla Institute of Technology Ranchi (BIT Ranchi)

The Birla Institute of Technology Ranchi (BIT Ranchi) was established in 1955 at Mesra, Ranchi, by the famous industrialist Mr. B M Birla. BIT, Mesra is a "Deemed University" under Sec. 3 of the U.G.C. act 1986. It functions under the overall supervision, direction and control of a high power Board of Governors. Shri G.P. Birla is the Chairman of the Board of Governors.
