National Institute of Technology, Warangal,NITW

National Institute of Technology, Warangal (NITW), formerly known as Regional Engineering College Warangal (RECW), was established in 1959. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru laid the foundation stone for this institute on October 10, 1959, the first in the chain of eighteen NITs in the country. The Institute renamed as National Institute of Technology, Warangal and offered the status of Deemed University on September, 2002.
