Admission Post Graduate Diploma in Child Rights (PGDCR)


The Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai announces admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Child Rights (PGDCR). It is a full time residential, professional programme of instruction, training and field practice, leading to the award of Post Graduate Diploma in Child Rights (PGDCR).

Eligibility: A Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognised University, in any discipline with minimum of 3 years experience of working in the child rights sector. Few fellowships are available for deserving students. Sponsored candidates may also apply through proper channels.

From the Cash Counter at TISS, Mumbai against cash payment of Rs.500 · By downloading from www.tiss.edu (to be completed and submitted with a DD for Rs 500)

Reservations: As per GOI requirements, seats are reserved for SC, ST, OBC candidates and Persons with Disability (PWD).

Issue of forms : September 15, 2008 to October 6, 2008
Last Date of receipt of completed forms at the Institute : October 6, 2008.
Written Test : October 22, 2008
Personal Interviews (of shortlisted candidates) : October 23, 2008
Commencement of classes : December 22, 2008
