The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all India entrance examination conducted on rotation by 14 National Law Universities (NLUs) for admissions to their under-graduate and post-graduate degree programmes (LL.B & LL.M)

Eligibility for Under-Graduate Courses

To be eligible to appear in CLAT-2013, a candidate should have obtained a Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognised Board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC and ST candidates) and should be below 20 years of age as on 1st July 2013 (22 years in case of SC and ST candidates).* Candidates who are appearing or have appeared in the 10+2 examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test. However, such candidates are required to have passed the qualifying examination at the time of their admission and must be able to submit proofs in support of their claims. * Subject to State reservation at the University concerned.

Eligibility for Post-Graduate Courses

To be eligible for appearing in CLAT-2013, a candidate should have obtained a LL. B/B. L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC and ST candidates).* The candidates who have passed the qualifying degree examination through supplementary/ compartment and repeat attempts are also eligible for appearing in the test and taking admission provided that such candidates will have to produce the proof of having passed the qualifying examination with fifty-five/fifty percent marks, as the case may be, on the date of their admission or within the time allowed by the respective universities.

Mode of obtaining Application Form and Information Brochure for CLAT-2013

Printed OMR Application Forms along with the CLAT-2013 Information Brochure will be made available at the designated branches (refer-www.clat.ac.in) of the State Bank of India (SBI) and in all the participating NLUs mentioned above against payment of Rs.3000/- only (Rs.2500/- in case of SC/ST candidates on submission of proof) excluding the bank charges. For purcahasing Application Form from the designated branches of SBI, fees can be paid through a ‘Challan’ by furnishing the required information about the candidate as specified in the 'Challan' form. For purchasing Application Form from the participating NLUs, the candidates can make payment either through ‘Cash’ or ‘Demand Draft’ drawn in favour of the Registrars of the concerned NLUs to be payable at the respective cities of their location.

Application Form and CLAT-2013 Information Brochure can also be procured through registered/speed post by sending a requisition letter (with Father’s Name, Contact Numbers, detail Mailing Address and PIN Code) to the Convener, CLAT-2013, Hidayatullah National Law University, Post – Uparwara, Abhanpur, New Raipur – 493661 (Chhattisgarh) along with a Demand Draft of Rs.3100/- (Rs.2600/- in case of SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of “Registrar, HNLU – CLAT 2013 A/C” to be payable at Raipur (Chhattisgarh). Rs. 3100.00/Rs. 2600.00 includes an additional amount of Rs.100.00 being charged for sending the Application Form and Information Brochure through Speed/Registered Post.

Candidates can also apply online by visiting and following the instructions given in the CLAT-2013 website (www.clat.ac.in). The online payment for applying for CLAT-2013 can be made through net-banking, debit card, credit card, etc. In case of online application, the candidates will have to bear the additional transaction costs for remitting the fees online through payment gateways.

Old Question Booklets for UG as well as PG courses will be available at the member National Law Universities/Institutes including the organizing university (i.e. HNLU, Raipur) at a cost of Rs. 200/- per booklet. The Question Booklets will also be made available on the CLAT Website (www.clat.ac.in) and can be downloaded by making online payment of Rs. 200/- through net banking, debit card, credit card, etc. In addition to making online payment of Rs. 200/-, the applicant will have to bear the bank transaction cost for remitting the charges online. In case, the question papers are sent on request through registered/speed post, the candidates will have to bear an additional cost of Rs.100/- towards the postage charges.

Mode of Applying

Duly filled-in OMR Application Form along with a copy of the Bank Challan/Cash Receipt/Demand Draft can be submitted to the Convener, CLAT-2013, either in person (from 10:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. on all working days) or through registered/speed post so as to reach the following address on or before 05:00 p.m. of 30th March 2013. The relevant certificates/documents in support of one’s claim for admission are not to be submitted along with the Application Form. The original certificates/documents (as indicated in the OMR Application Form and specified in the CLAT-2013 Information Brochure) issued by competent authority are to be submitted to the allotted University/Institute only at the time of admission. ICHR Junior Research Fellowship (Junior Fellowship) 2012-2013

Applications are invited by Indian Council of Historical Research on the prescribed form so as to reach the undersigned on or before 30.10.2012 from candidates for admission to an eligibility examination for the award of Junior Research Fellowship of the value of Rs. 16000/- p.m. with a contingency grant of Rs. 15000/- p.a. The examination will be held on 2nd December 2012 at New Delhi, Bengaluru and Guwahati.

A. The term of the Fellowship shall be for a maximum period of 2 years, extendable by 1 more year in special circumstances if recommended by the Research Projects Committee.

B. The maximum number of Junior Research Fellowships available for the year 2012-2013 is eighty (80) only.

C. Candidates who might have been awarded a Junior Research Fellowship (Junior Fellowship) prior to April 2012 but have not taken it up until June 2012, will have to appear in the examination.

Eligibility:

(a) Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by the UGC in History/Archaeology/Museology are eligible for this examination. The Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Physically Handicapped (PH)/Visually Handicapped(VH) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Examination.

(b) Candidates who are admitted for a Ph.D programme can apply for the ICHR Junior Research Fellowship (Junior Fellowship). The grant to the selected candidates would be available only upon their registration for a Ph.D degree.

Other Requirements

An application fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only) shall be paid in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Deputy Director (Accounts), Indian Council of Historical Research payable at the UCO Bank 35, Ferozeshah Road, ICSSR New Delhi - 110002.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST are exempted from payment of the fee. Second class railway or bus fare chargeable by the shortest routes from Railway Station / Bus Stand nearest to their normal place of residence or from where they actually perform the journey, whichever is nearer to the place of examination, will be reimbursed to SC/ST candidates on production of ticket(s), provided the distance travelled is not less than 30 kms.

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), has invited applications from eligible candidates for Joint CSIR-UGC for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship (NET) December 2012.

CSIR will hold the Joint CSIR-UGC Test on 23rd December, 2012 for determining the eligibility of the Indian National candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (NET) in certain subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology. The award of Junior Research Fellowship (NET) to the successful eligible candidates will depend on their finding admission/placement in a university/ national laboratory/ institution of higher learning and research, as applicable.

Subjects of the Test

The Test will be held in the subjects as given under:
1. Chemical Sciences
2. Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences
3. Life Sciences
4. Mathematical Sciences
5. Physical Sciences
6. Engineering Sciences

Educational Qualification

BS-4 years program/BE/BTech/BPharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/MSc or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks for general and OBC (50% for SC/ST candidates, Physically and Visually Handicapped candidates). Candidates enrolled for M.Sc or having completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying examination are also eligible to apply in the above subject under the Result Awaited (RA) category on the condition that they complete the qualifying degree with requisite percentage of marks within the validity period of two years to avail the fellowship from the effective date of award.

Such candidates will have to submit the attestation format (Given at the reverse of the application form) duly certified by the Head of the Department/Institute from where the candidate is appearing or has appeared.

BSc (Hons) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD program with at least 55% marks for general and OBC candidates; 50% marks for SC/ST candidates, physically and visually handicapped candidates are also eligible to apply.Candidates with bachelor’s degree, whether Science, engineering or any other discipline, will be eligible for fellowship only after getting registered/enrolled for PhD/Integrated PhD program within the validity period of two years.

The eligibility for lectureship of NET qualified candidates will be subject to fulfilling the criteria laid down by UGC. PhD degree holders who have passed Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991, with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for Lectureship only.

The candidates with the above qualification are advised to fill up their degree with percentage of marks in column No. 19, 20 & 21, as applicable (if they are applying through Information Bulletin) or column No. 18 to 21, as applicable (for Online applications). Age limit & Relaxation

For JRF (NET):Maximum 28 years as on 01-07-2012 (upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, Physically handicapped/Visually handicapped and female applicants).

For LS (NET): No upper age limit.

Eligibility For Admission

I. M Sc DEGREE IN NURSING (2 YEARS)

Eligible for this programme is a candidate who
1. has completed BSc(N)/BSc Hons./Post Basic BSc Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
2. has undergone a full time (regular stream not distance mode) programme in BSc (N) /BSc Hons / Post Basic BSc(N) in an institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
3. has minimum one year of work experience from the date of registration as Nurse and Midwife after BSc Nursing (OR) after or prior to Post Basic BSc Nursing programme as on 15th April 2013 in any institution/hospital or as a full time Public Health Nurse.
4. possesses registration certificate from the State Nursing Council for Nursing and Midwifery / alternate course (applicable to male candidates). The male candidates who do not possess midwifery registration certificate will not be able to apply for MSc (N) in Obstetrics and Gynaecological / Community Health Nursing irrespective of their experience in the area.
5. is medically fit.

II. POST BASIC B Sc NURSING (2 YEARS)

Eligible for this programme is a candidate who
1. is a Diplomate in Nursing after 12 years of schooling.
2. possesses registration certificate from the State Nursing Council for Nursing and Midwifery / alternate course (applicable to male candidates).
3. is medically fit.

III. FELLOWSHIPS IN NURSING (1 YEAR)

A. Fellowship in Family Nurse Practice (FFNP)
B. Fellowship in Haematology Nursing
C. Fellowship in Respiratory Nursing

Eligible for this programme is a candidate who
1. has completed BSc Nursing/Post Basic BSc Nursing Programme of The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai or any other University accepted as equivalent there to.
2. possesses registration certificate from the State Nursing Council for Nursing and Midwifery/alternate course (applicable to male candidates).
3. is a graduate nurse with a minimum of one year work experience as on 15th July 2013 in any clinical area in the hospital or in the community.
4. is applying for FFNP must be a Registered Nurse and Midwife
5. is medically fit.

IV. POST BASIC DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES IN NURSING (1 YEAR)

Eligible for the programme is a candidate who:

1. has completed Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery / BSc Nursing / Post Basic BSc Nursing graduate.
2. possesses registration certificate from the State Nursing Council for Nursing and Midwifery / alternate course (applicable to male candidates).
3. is a staff nurse with one year work experience as on 15th July 2013 in any clinical area in the hospital or in the community.
4. is medically fit.

Candidates who have applied for MSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing, Fellowships in Nursing and Post Basic Diploma programmes in Nursing will appear for a written examination. The short listed candidates called for the medical checkup and interview after the preliminary selection will be published in the website and intimated individually by post by the 2nd week of December.

Hall Tickets

The Hall Ticket will be sent by post to all the candidates. In non receipt of the hall ticket one week prior to the written test, candidates may print it out from the website http://home.cmcvellore.ac.in/admissions/admin.htm. Please keep your application and registration numbers handy. If any problem is encountered, kindly contact the office of the Registrar by post, email, telephone or fax.

Entrance Examination

All eligible candidates are required to undertake a written examination (multiple choice questions) on 24th November 2012. The examination will be conducted in the following cities - Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pudhucherry, Trivandrum and Vellore (refer Annexure –II). The candidates are expected to report 1/2 an hour before the examination at the centre with the hall ticket. The examination will be conducted in English. NEET-PG National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Post Graduate for admission to MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses 2013 . NEET-PG is the eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses under ambit of Post Graduate Medical Regulations 2000 (as amended) notified by Medical Council of India with prior approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will be conducted by the National Board of Examinations from 23rd November to 6th December, 2012 as a Computer based Test (CBT).

NEET-PG is a mandatory test for gaining entry to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses at all medical colleges under ambit of PGME Regulation of MCI. No candidate who has failed to obtain the minimum eligibility marks as prescribed, shall be admitted to any Post Graduate course.

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India has notified National Board of Examinations (NBE) for conducting the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Post Graduate courses.

NBE shall be conducting NEET-PG as a Computer Based Test (CBT).from November 23rd, 2012 to December 6th, 2012 at test centres located at 33 cities across the country.

Eligibility Criteria for NEET-PG 2012:

Candidates who are in possession of MBBS degree/Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate from an Institute recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act and possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council and have completed one year of internship or likely to complete on or before 31st March 2013 may apply for NEET-PG through online application system at www.nbe.gov.in/neetpg For further details as instructions, scheme of examination, syllabus, list of seats available, Counseling etc. please refers to information bulletin for NEET-PG at website: www.nbe.gov.in/neetpg;

Fees: Composite examination fee and information bulletin voucher (required for online application system) can be obtained from selected branches of Axis Bank on payment of Rs.3750 for General/OBC and Rs.2750 for SC/ST/PWD Category.

Candidates will be able to schedule their exams at the online registration system based on the availability of test centre on the date, time and venue of their choice on first come first served basis.

The results for NEET shall be declared by 31st January 2013. The mark sheet-cum-result certificate for the NEET-PG examination can be downloaded from the website www.nbe.gov.in/neetpg after the declaration of result.
