Applications are invited for admission to the Post Graduate academic programmes in the Statutory Teaching Departments and Inter School Centre of the University for the academic year 2016-17. Admissions to all the programmes except M Ed are on the basis of Common Admission Test (CAT- MGU). For M Ed programme both the score in Entrance Test and the marks for Qualifying Examination will be considered for preparing the rank list. Only online registration will be considered for all the academic programmes of the University.

How to Apply: There is only a single online application for applying for the Entrance Test (CAT- MGU) and for giving options for admission to the various academic programmes in the different teaching departments. If a candidate submits more than one application his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled. The online registration for CAT-MGU will start from 16th March 2016.

Registration fee: The registration fee will be as follows:
For General candidates: Rs. 500/-
For SC/ST candidates: Rs. 250/-

Registration fee has to be paid online using internet banking/debit/credit/cash cards. Fee paid in other mode of payments will not be considered. SECOND PHASE OF ALLOTMENT
AVAILABILITY OF WEBSITE FOR ONLINE OPTION CONFIRMATION AND RE-ARRANGEMENT

The activities related to the Second and Final phase of Centralised Allotment for admission to LL.M Courses in the four Government Law Colleges and 5 Private Self-financing Law Colleges of the State for the year 2015-16 will commence on 17.03.2016 (Thursday).

Candidates who are having valid options and who are willing to participate in this phase of allotment must compulsorily confirm their online options, by clicking the ‘Confirm’ button available in their home page. After Online Option Confirmation, the candidates can delete the unwanted higher options and can re-arrange the existing higher options. The facility for option confirmation/deletion/re-arrangement will be available in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 17.03.2016 to 19.03.2016, 3 pm. Those who do not confirm their higher options online within the stipulated time will not be considered for this phase of allotment. The requests for option confirmation/re-arrangement/deletion of options received via Post/Fax/e-mail will not be considered.

23.03.2016, 5 pm - All the college authorities should approve and submit the list of admitted candidates through OAMS.

The required fee for the LL.M Courses should be remitted in the allotted colleges at the time of admission.

Candidates who receive allotment should have attained the eligibility for admission as per Clause 4 of the Prospectus at the time of admission.

Candidates who do not take admission within the specified dates shall lose their allotment as well as their further claims in the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP).

The vacant seats, if any, in Govt./Self Financing Law Colleges still remaining after 5 pm on 23.03.2016 shall be filled by the College Authorities concerned through Spot Admission on or before 31.03.2016. The College authorities are authorized to conduct Spot Admission on or before 31.03.2016 in accordance with the conditions stipulated in Clause 16.7(b) of the Prospectus for LL.M Course 2015-16 after giving wide publicity regarding the same through print and visual media. The vacant seats, if any, in Self Financing Law Colleges after 23.03.2016 shall be filled as Government Merit seats through Spot Admission.

Eligibility Criteria and Selection Procedures

Qualification:- Candidates who are desirous to join the above mentioned M. Tech Programmes in DIAT must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or a Master's degree in Science as applicable to the programme @ with 55% aggregate marks/5.5 CGPA and valid GATE score.

Age Limit: - Not more than 26 years as on 01 July 2016. Relaxations as per GOI rules.

Admission to the M. Tech programme shall be made directly based on GATE score. Candidates are required to submit separate applications for each specialization. Admission to a specialization shall be made based on separate GATE discipline wise merit list. DIAT reserves the right to offer the specialization on given M Tech programme.

Candidates under sponsored category (MoD sponsored) will be admitted through Research & Training (R & T) and Postgraduate Training (PGT) schemes for DRDO and Tri-services Officers including Coast Guard respectively. Such candidates need to apply through their employer. These admissions shall be operated jointly by DIAT and RAC/DRDO (through DHRD/DRDO).

Candidates under non-MoD sponsored category (DPSUs/Industry) will be admitted through by his/her employer and subject to meeting the additional conditions specified below, through a separate selection committee appointed specifically for the purpose. Such sponsored candidate must be in service of the sponsoring organization. The sponsoring organization must specifically undertake to provide full salary to the candidate and to relieve him/her to pursue the programme for its full duration. Sponsored candidates are exempted from qualifying GATE requirement and there is no age limit.

Application Procedure

Interested candidates under Scholarship Category should apply ONLINE only. The application fee for each program (specialisation) is Rs 500/- for General Category and Rs. 250/- for women and reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) candidates. The application fee can be paid online or by Demand Draft drawn in favour of Vice Chancellor, DIAT, payable at Pune. The application fee is non-refundable

The candidates who have applied for the Entrance Examination for Admission to P.G Dental (MDS) Courses 2016-17 scheduled on 07.02.2016 (Sunday) at Thiruvananthapuram can download their Admit cards from the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 20.01.2016.

The candidates have to enter their Application Number and Date of Birth on the page available after clicking on the link ‘MDS2016-Candidate Portal’ of the website and click on ‘Admit Card’ to download their Admit Cards. This Admit Card should be taken to the Examination Hall. Admit cards will not be sent to candidates by post.

The Admit Cards of certain candidates are withheld due to some defects in their applications, which will be shown on the screen while trying to download the Admit Card. Formats for rectifying such defects are also available on the website. Such candidates are required to rectify the defects by submitting the relevant documents to this office before 5.00 pm on 04.02.2016 by hand/ speed post/ registered post. Candidate should write ‘P G DENTAL ENTRANCE EXAMINATION, 2016- DOCUMENTS FOR MEMO CLEARANCE’ on the envelop containing the documents.

Candidates who have forgotten their application number can get it by clicking on the link “Find Application Number” and after giving their name. The Name, Address and Application number will be displayed.

Admission to LL.M Course 2015-2016 in the Law Colleges in Kerala

The Answer Keys of the Entrance Examination for Admission to LL.M Course 2015-16 held on 03.01.2016 (Sunday) has been published on the website www.cee-kerala.org.

Complaints regarding the Answer Keys, if any, may be forwarded to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations along with supporting documents and fee @ Rs.200/- per question by way of DD drawn in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram, by post or hand delivery so as to reach the office on or before 11.01.2016 (Monday).

If the complaint filed is found to be genuine, the fee remitted for that question will be refunded. Complaints received after the stipulated time and without requisite fee will not be considered under any circumstances. Complaints received via E-mail/Fax also will not be considered.

Entrance Examinations For Admission to Engineering/Medical & Allied Courses, Kerala 2016

Applications are invited for the Entrance Examinations for admission to the following Degree Courses in various Professional Colleges in the State for the year 2016-17.

(a) Medical (i) MBBS (ii) BDS (iii) BHMS (iv) BAMS (v) BSMS (vi) BUMS

(b) Agriculture (i) BSc. (Hons.) Agriculture (ii) BSc. (Hons.) Forestry

(c) Veterinary BVSc. & AH

(d) Fisheries BFSc.

(e) Engineering B.Tech. [including B.Tech. (Agri. Engg.) & B.Tech. (Food Engg.) Courses under the Kerala Agricultural University, B.Tech. (Dairy Science & Tech.) & B.Tech. (Food Technology) courses underthe Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University]

(f) Architecture B.Arch. (No Entrance Examination. Admission is based on merit as assessed by equal weightage to NATA Score and marks/grades in the Qualifying Examination)

Note:- Candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions as laid down in the Prospectus and who seek admission to all the above mentioned courses have to apply online on the website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 3 January 2016 to 29 January 2016.

The CEE will conduct separate Entrance Examinations for admission to Engineering Courses and Medical & Allied Courses. The CEE will not conduct any Entrance Examination for admission to B.Arch. course. However, candidates seeking admission to B.Arch. course should compulsorily appear and qualify the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA) before 05.06.2016.

Schedule for the Entrance Examinations:
The Entrance Examinations will be held at all the District Centres in Kerala and in New Delhi, Mumbai and Dubai (UAE), on the dates mentioned below as per Indian Standard Time (IST).

Engineering Entrance Examination (For Engineering courses except Architecture)
25.04.2016 Monday 10.00 am to 12.30 pm Paper-I Physics & Chemistry
26.04.2016 Tuesday 10.00 am to 12.30 pm Paper-II Mathematics

Medical Entrance Examination (For Medical/Agriculture/Veterinary/Fisheries Courses)
27.04.2016 Wednesday 10.00 am to 12.30 pm Paper-I Chemistry & Physics
28.04.2016 Thursday 10.00 am to 12.30 pm Paper-II Biology
