COMMON ADMISSION TEST 2016-17
For THE POST GRADUATE PROGRAMMES IN STATUTORY TEACHING DEPARTMENTS AND INTER SCHOOL CENTRE

Applications are invited for admission to the Post Graduate academic programmes in the Statutory Teaching Departments and Inter School Centre of the University for the academic year 2016-17. Admissions to all the programmes except M Ed are on the basis of Common Admission Test (CAT- MGU). For M Ed programme both the score in Entrance Test and the marks for Qualifying Examination will be considered for preparing the rank list. Only online registration will be considered for all the academic programmes of the University.

How to Apply: There is only a single online application for applying for the Entrance Test (CAT- MGU) and for giving options for admission to the various academic programmes in the different teaching departments. If a candidate submits more than one application his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled. The online registration for CAT-MGU will start from 16th March 2016.

Registration fee: The registration fee will be as follows:
For General candidates: Rs. 500/-
For SC/ST candidates: Rs. 250/-

Registration fee has to be paid online using internet banking/debit/credit/cash cards. Fee paid in other mode of payments will not be considered. Those who don’t have any of the abovementioned cash transaction facilities can register their applications and make online payment through the Akshaya Centres in the state.
