Applications have been invited from eligible candidates for admission to the 8-semester B.Tech (Polymer Engineering) course at the School of Technology and Applied Sciences (STAS), Regional Centre, Kottayam under the Self- financing stream, for the year 2008-09.

Applicant should have passed the Plus Two or equivalent examination with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/ Biology/ Bio-Technology/Computer Science put together.SC/ST/ SEBC candidates are eligible for relaxation in marks as per University rules.

Application form can be obtained from the Office of the Regional Director, STAS, Pullanikkunnu, Malloossery (PO), Kottayam- 686 041 on producing a Demand Draft for Rs.200/- drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, Mahatma Gandhi University, payable at SBT, MG University Campus Branch.

The filled in applications should reach Director, STAS, Pullanikkunnu, Malloossery (PO), Kottayam- 686 041 along with a Demand Draft for Rs 300/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ST), drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, Mahatma Gandhi University, payable at SBT, MG University Campus Branch with full postal address of the applicant entered on the back side of the Draft, by 15th September 2008.
