Admission to the Ph.D. programmes will be in the following schemes: (i) Full Time (FT), (ii) External (EX) and (iii) Internal (IN).

Last Date for Receipt of Completed Applications 25-11-2008
Tentative date for Test/Interview 15-19 December 2008
Registration 29 & 30 December 2008
Commencement of Classes 31 December 2008

Applications with all the enclosures should be sent by Registered Post/ Speed Post so as to reach the Chairperson – PG Admissions, National Institute of Technology Calicut, NIT Campus PO, Calicut - 673 601, Kerala on or before 25-11-2008.

The list of eligible candidates called for interview and the schedule of interview will be available, after 03-12-2008, in the institute website:

No Separate call letter for interview will be sent to the eligible candidates. Eligible candidates can download call letter from the above website.
