Notification for Admission to B.Ed. (Distance Mode) Course

Applications are invited for Entrance Test and Admission into B.Ed.(Distance Mode) 2008 – 2009. Teachers with a Bachelor’s Degree serving in a recognized school and having at least two years experience of school teaching are eligible for admission to the course. The eligibility criteria, other conditions and information, etc. are given in the brochure. The application form alongwith the information brochure can be obtained from Directorate of Admissions, Osmania University on payment of Rs.400/- in cash, which includes registration fee. Application can also be obtained by post from the Director, Directorate of Admissions, Osmania University, Hyderabad – 500 609 by sending a Demand Draft for Rs.400/- in favour of “Director, Directorate of Admissions, O.U.” alongwith a self addressed envelope (size 10” X 14”) with postal stamps worth Rs.52/- affixed.

Sale of applications : 16-01-2009 to 13-02-2009
Last date for submission : 06-02-2009 upto 4.00 p.m.
With a late fee of Rs.200/- : 10-02-2009 upto 4.00 p.m.
With a late fee of Rs.500/- : 13-02-2009 upto 4.00 p.m.

Filled in applications should reach the Director, Directorate of Admissions, Near University Publications & Press, Osmania University, Hyderabad – 500 609 on or before the dates mentioned above. University is not responsible for any postal delay.

The application form and brochure is also available on website www.osmania.ac.in. The candidate can download a copy of application form and ICR sheet and apply to the Director, Directorate of Admissions,Osmania University, Hyderabad – 500 609 with a Demand Draft for Rs.500/-
The tentative date of Entrance Test is 1-3-2009.
