Eligibility Conditions for admission:

• For PG Diploma Courses except Computer Applications, Simulation and Modeling, Biotechnology: Any UG/PG degree with a minimum of 45% of marks is necessary.


• For Computer Applications & For Simulation & Modeling : Any degree with 45% of marks with Mathematics as one of the subjects studies in the Higher Secondary or Degree or during the first three years of 5 years M.Sc. Integrated Courses.


• For Biotechnology: Degree in any branch of Biological Sciences with a minimum of 45% of marks.


• For Certificate Courses: Tamil, Japanese, Russian, Korean, Chinese , French : A pass in the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or its equivalent


• For SC/ST candidates, mere pass in the qualifying examination will be sufficient.


• Candidates studying in the fourth year / fifth year of Five Year Integrated Courses of the University are also eligible to study these courses.

Course Duration

Minimum Duration of the Course : Two semesters (One Year) (for both Diploma & Certificate Courses)

Maximum Duration to complete the Course: Four Semesters (Two Years) (for both Diploma & Certificate Courses)

Last date for issue & submission of application forms: 30.09.2009
Classes will commence in mid – October, 2009.
