IISWBM invites application for admission to the Two year MBA (Session 2011-2013) and Two year MHRM (Session 2011-2013) Degree Courses of CALCUTTA UNIVERSITY

Eligibility: Honours Degree or its equivalent in any discipline/Graduate in any professional course (Engineering, etc.), LLB (5 years) of a recognized University. Those who will be appearing at such examination within June 2011 may also apply.

Selection: Through COMMON ADMISSION TEST (CAT) of IIMs. IISWBM uses CAT for short listing the candidates. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme. To appear in CAT minimum 50% marks is required, in Bachelor’s Degree (Details available in CAT Notification). SC/ST quota will be fulfilled as per University guidelines.

For admission to IISWBM, one has to apply to CAT and also apply separately to IISWBM for which Brochure and Application Forms are to be obtained from IISWBM. The starting date of issue of CAT Vouchers is August 30, 2010 and closing date of sale of CAT Vouchers is September 27, 2010.

On the basis of the CAT score, IISWBM will call short-listed candidates, who have applied to IISWBM for Group Discussion and Interview. GD/PI will also be held at other major cities.

PLACEMENT: Excellent placement opportunities in reputed companies in India and abroad are provided through Campus Interviews.

HOSTEL: Good hostel facilities for outstation students both for boys & girls.

APPLICATION FORM & BROCHURE: Available from September 06, 2010 from the Reception Counter of IISWBM on cash payment of Rs.1200/- or against Bank Draft of Rs. 1300/- payable on any bank at Kolkata in favour of IISWBM. Application form may be downloaded from our website.

For student loan, we have arrangement with some banks subject to fulfillment of respective banker’s formalities.

Classes will commence from July 2011.

Last date of issue and receipt of completed Application Form is 6th December 2010.
