Applications on the prescribed form are invited for M.Sc. Nursing course for the academic session 2015. Last date for submission of online application 25.05.2015
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
M.Sc. Nursing – 2 years (Course Code- MSC/022)
1) B.Sc. Nursing/Post-Basic from an Institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and PGIMER, Chandigarh as equivalent thereto with at least 55% marks
in aggregate.
2) Should have minimum one year of work experience after registration as Registered Nurse & Registered Midwife by 10th June 2015 (the last date for submission of applications) in bedside nursing in a minimum 100 bedded hospital (for private hospitals only) or Public Health Nursing or in Nursing Educational Institutions recognized by the Indian Nursing Council after B.Sc. Nursing (4 years) or before and after Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing. The experience certificate in this regard must be on the letter head of the hospital and should clearly indicate the capacity of the hospital in terms of number of beds and should be approved by State/Central Govt.(S) failing which experience will not be considered.
3) Should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife as approved by INC or substitute registration in the case of male candidates fully qualified for nursing of men, women and children.
Foreign nationals (FN)
(1) Foreign nationals should also fill in the prescribed application form online.
(2) Candidates are required to take the print out of the filled online application form and route their applications along with necessary documents through
the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi.
(3) Foreign national candidates can also deposit the required fee through demand draft in favour of Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh and print out of dulyfilled application form (by filling the subject) may be sent by post to Principal, NINE, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
(4) The online application form will be treated as an advance copy.
(5) However application of such candidates will be proposed after receipt of the same through diplomatic channels. These candidates are also required toappear in the entrance examination along with other candidates.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION SCHEDULE
Closing date of registration / Challan : 25.05.2015
Last Date of Deposit of Fee : 29.05.2015
Entrance Examination : 05.07.2015 at 10:00 AM
Declaration of Result : 06.07.2015 at 11:00 AM
Counseling : 07.07.2015 at 02:30 PM
Entrance examinations will be held at Chandigarh only.
Entry without Admit Card (Roll No.) will not be allowed.
Candidates must report at the examination centre ONE HOUR BEFORE the scheduled time of the start of exam.
All the final results will be displayed on the Notice Boardsof Bhargava Auditorium / NINE, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
