Applications are invited from the candidates who have passed/appearing for the final year qualifying degree examination for admission into following UG/PG courses for the academic year 2009-10 offered by AU and its affiliated colleges through AUCET-2009.

*Some seats will be filled on All India basis.

Application form with Information Brochure can be had from the:
(A) Principals of (i) A.U.College of Arts & Commerce, (ii) A.U.College of Science & Technology, (iii) A.U.College of Engineering (A);
(B) Special Officer, P.G. Centre, Kakinada and
(C) The Co-ordinators of Distance Education Study Centres at (i) Govt. College for Men, Srikakulam, (ii) Govt. College, Rajahmundry, (iii) Sir C.R.R. College, Eluru, (iv) Prabhas Degree College, Kedareswaripet, Vijayawada and (v) A.C.College, Guntur on payment of Rs.275/-. Applications can also be had by post from The Director, by sending only by D.D. for Rs.325/ - (Rs.50/- for Postage) drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of "THE DIRECTOR, DIRECTORATE OF ADMISSIONS" payable at Visakhapatnam before 28-03-2009. Candidates should submit a separate application for each Test, or a Course without test. The filled-in applications should reach the Director in person or by registered post on or before 5 p.m. on 07-04-2009. Late applications will be accepted with fine and its details are mentioned below in the important dates column:

3. Last date for receipt of filled-in Applications without fine : 07-04-09
4. Last date for receipt of filled-in Applications with a fine of Rs.500/- : 14-04-09
5. Last date for receipt of filled-in Applications with a fine of Rs.1,000/- : 23-04-09
6. Commencement of Tests (Tentative) : 16-05-09

Applications invited courses of B.A.,/ B.Sc.,/ B.Com.,/ B.Sc., (Home Science)/ B.A. (O.L.) for registration for the Supplementary Degree Examinations

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for all courses of B.A.,/ B.Sc.,/ B.Com.,/ B.Sc., (Home Science)/ B.A. (O.L.) for registration for the Supplementary Degree Examinations to be held in the month of September, 2008.

The I, II, III year regular college students and supplemental candidates are directed to pay the examination fee in the college concerned, and submit their filled-in examination applications through the Principals of their respective colleges positively for registration as follows:

• Payment of Examination fee without fine on or before : 18-08-2008


• Submission of examination applications with a consolidated D.D. course wise to the Andhra University by the college through special messenger on or before : 21-08-2008


• Last date for the payment of examination fee with a fine of Rs. 1,000/- : 25-08-2008


• Late applications along with a consolidated D.D. paid course wise to be submitted to the University by the college through special messenger on or before : 28-08-2008


• Date of commencement of examinations : 10-09-2008

The proforma of examination application is kept in the Website and can be downloaded form the website www.andhrauniversity.info/exams/appl.html and should pay an extra fee of Rs. 30/- towards the cost of the examination application along with the usual examination fee and forwarded by the concerned college Principal.

The application sent by the candidates either by post or submitted personally at the University office will not be entertained and the applications submitted after the prescribed last date will not be entertained by the University under any circumstances.
