Applications are invited for the following Distance Education Courses

The courses and the eligibility are as follows.

1. Animal Welfare: Applicant should hold any Degree from a Recognized University.

2. Optimizing Cattle Feeding Based on Locally Available Fodder Resources: Applicant should be capable of reading, writing and Speaking in English.

3. Recent Trends in Disease Diagnosis and Treatment of Ruminants: Applicant should hold a B.V Sc & AH/B.VSc Degree.

4. Management of Infertility in Bovines: Applicant should hold a B.V Sc & AH/B.VSc Degree.

Application form and prospectus can be downloaded at free of cost from www.animalsciencesacademy.tn.nic.in or www.tanuvas.ac.in. Alternatively, candidates can obtain application and prospectus on request from “The Director of Extension Education, TANUVAS, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai – 600 051” by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty only) from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “The Director of Extension Education, TANUVAS, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai – 600 051” payable at Chennai along with a self addressed stamped (Rs.10/-) envelope of size 27x12 cm.

The last date for submission of completed application is on 31.03.2009 at 5.45 p.m.

The I Batch for the programmes is expected to commence in April 2009 and the II Batch in October 2009.
