Admission to MBA Programme for Academic Session 2009-2011

Candidates with valid CAT/JMET score and Bachelor degree in any branch of Engineering / Technology or Master Degree in Computer Applications (MCA) recognized by AICTE with at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade i.e., 6.75 CGPA on a 10 point scale, are eligible. Students appearing for their final examination in the academic session 2008-09 are also eligible to apply. Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates is as per GOI rules.

The interviews will be conducted in Hyderabad Bangalore & Guwahti on 13th June, 2009. (Saturday) Candidates desirous of seeking admission to MBA at ABV-IIITM, Gwalior (with CAT percentile 75 and above for General, 65 percentile for OBC and 55 percentile for SC/ST and in JMET 60 percentage and above for General, 50 percentage for OBC and 40 percentage for SC/ST) may download the application form from the institute’s web site www.iiitm.ac.in. Candidates who have applied earlier need not apply again.

Duly filled application form should be submitted to Assistant Registrar , ABV-IIITM, Morena Link Road, Gwalior, along with a bank draft of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/-for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favor of The Director, ABV-IIITM, Gwalior payable at Gwalior not later than 6 June,2009

Applications are invited for full time Ph.D. Programme in prescribed format, available on institute website: www.iiitm.ac.in for admission to Ph.D. in the areas related to Computer Science/ IT / E&C/Management / Applied Science (Mathematics & Physics) to reach the institute along with a demand draft of Rs. 200/- (Rs. 100/- for

Eligibility: Master’s Degree in Engineering /Technology / Management / Applied Sciences or equivalent or MBA with Engineering background with at least 65% marks or CGPA of 7.00 on a 10 point scale in qualifying degree examination. Gwalior Fort

Monuments In India - Gwalior Fort

In the fifteenth century Raja Mansing built the Gwalior Fort at Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. It was constructed in sandstone on a 3 km. long basalt hill, lies at a height of more than 90 metres from the plains. There are more than six gates to enter the fort. The fort consists of eight reservoirs, several palaces, temples, a mosque and other buildings. The atrium of the great Sas-Bahu temple, The Gujari Mahal and the Hathi Pole are some of the outstanding structures and excellent examples of Hindu architecture. During the first war of independence Tantia Topi was defeated by the Britsh near this fort. Huge rock-cut Jaina statues of 15th century can be seen below the walls of the Fort.
