The Technological Institute of Textile & Sciences (TITS) Bhiwani was established in 1943 by the great entrepreneur and visionary, Dr. G D Birla. The Technological Institute of Textile & Sciences is a center for research and education at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The institute has attached to it a textile mill for training the students under actual working conditions and for conducting research and perfecting the processes necessary for an incidental to manufacture of all types of products. Students after undergoing such practical training, are fully equipped to handle confidently and independently the responsibilities entrusted to them by the industry.
