CBSE Single Girl Child Merit Scholarship Scheme for Under-graduate studies
Eligibility:
(i)The applicant should be an Indian national.
(ii) The applicant should be a single Girl child
(iii) The applicant should be the only child of her parent.
(ii) Applicant should be a student of CBSE Board in class XII
(iii) scored 60% or more marks in Class XII, 2009 examinations conducted by the CBSE
(iv) Currently Pursuing under graduate course (non-medical/non-engineering) in any Central/State Government University or those recognized by UGC/AICTE
No. of Scholarships : 550 only
Value per month: Rs.500/-
Duration: Three years (to be renewed subject to eligibility)
Last Date of Receipt of Application: 30th September, 2009

CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Professional Courses AIPMT
Eligibility:
(i) The applicant should be an Indian national.
(ii) Rank in the Merit list of AIPMT 2009 conducted by CBSE.
(iii) Pursuing professional course in Medicine in any Central University/Institution controlled or aided by Central/ State Government.
(iv) 10% of the total scholarships will be awarded to those who are otherwise eligible and are the only girl child in the family.
Total No. of Scholarships: 150 only
Value per month: Rs.1000/-
Duration: Four years( To be renewed subject to eligibility)
Last Date of Receipt of Application: 30th September, 2009

CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Professional Courses AIEEE
Eligibility:
(i) The applicant should be an Indian national.
(ii) Rank in the Merit List of AIEEE 2009 conducted by CBSE,
(iii) Pursuing professional course in engineering in any Central University/Institution controlled or aided by Central Government/AIEEE participating Institutions.
(iv) 10% of the total scholarships will be awarded to those who are otherwise eligible and are the only girl child in the family.
No. of Scholarships : 350 only
Value per month: Rs.1000/-
Duration: Four years( To be renewed on year to year basis subject to eligibility)
Last Date of Receipt of Application: 30th September, 2009

CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Students for class X pass students
Eligibility
(i) The applicant should be an Indian national.
(ii) The applicant should be a single Girl child.
(iii) The applicant should be the only child of her parent.
(iv) Should be a student of CBSE in class X.(i.e passed class X from a CBSE affiliated school)
(v) Scored 60% or more marks in Class X examinations 2009 conducted by the CBSE.
(vi) Currently studying in CBSE affiliated schools where the tuition fee for X standard was not more than Rs.1500/- per month during the Academic year 2008-09. In the next 02 years the total enhancement of tuition fee in such schools shall not be more than 10% of the tuition fee charged in the year 2008-09.
Value of scholarship Rs. 500/- per month
Duration: 2 years only.
Last Date of Receipt of Application for the year 2009 : 30st Sept, 2009
