ADMISSION NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited for admission to the following courses of this University for January 2008 session. Prospectus and Application Forms will be available at the Study Centres on and from 15.12.2007.

M. Phil. in Education (Two Years)
Eligibility : Post Graduate of any recognized University.

Three Year Bachelor Degree Programme (BDP) for B.A., B.Com., B.Sc.
Eligibility : (10+2) or an equivalent Examination. Those who have passed BPP from NSOU or any other recognized University are also eligible to apply.

15-Month Diploma Course in Community Based Health Management Programme
Eligibility : H. S. (10+2 pattern only) passed girl students in Science stream with Biology.

Six Month Certificate Courses
1. English for Communication
2. Human Rights
3. Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme (BPP)
4. Videography & Video Editing
Eligibility: for Sl. Nos. 1, 2 & 4— 10+2 Examination passed & for Sl. No. 3. Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years on 1st January 2008.

One-Year Diploma in Pre-primary Teachers’ Training
Eligibility : 10+2 Examination Passed or equivalent

Six-Month Certificate, One-Year Advanced Certificate and Two-Year Advanced Diploma in various Vocational Courses:

1. Tailoring & Dress Designing Related Courses
a. 6-month Basic Certificate Course in Tailoring and Dress Designing
b. 1-year Advanced Certificate Course in Tailoring and Dress Designing
c. 2-year Advanced Diploma in Tailoring and Dress Designing
2. Electrical and Electronics Related Courses
a. 6-month Basic Certificate Course in House Wiring and Armature Winding
b. 6-month Basic Certificate Course in Repair and Maintenance of Electrical and Electronic Equipments
c. 6-month Basic Certificate Course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic
3. Automobile Related Courses
a. 6-month Basic Certificate Course in Automobile Repair and Maintenance
b. 1-year Advanced Certificate Course in Automobile Repair and Maintenance
c. 6-month Basic Certificate Course in Repair and Maintenance of 2/3 Wheelers
4. Information Technology Related Courses
a. Computer and Hardware Networking (6-month Basic and 1-year Advanced)
b. Financial Accounting System (6-month Basic and 1-year Advanced)
c. Computer Operator and Programming (6-month Basic and 1-year Advanced)
d. Information Technology Applications (6-month Basic and 1-year Advanced)
e. Computer Fundamentals (6-month Basic)
5. 6-Month Certificate Course in Art and Craft
6. 6-Month Certificate Course in Fitting and Plumbing
7. 6-Month Certificate Course in Blood Donors’ Motivation, Blood Science and Social Work
Eligibility : Class VIII passed for basic courses, Class X passed for advanced courses and Sl. No. 7, Graduation for 2-year Diploma Courses and professionals.

Last date of submission of filled in Application Form together with requisite fees at study centers is 06/01/2008 without late fee and 13/01/2008 with late fee of Rs.50/- for B.D.P. & other courses.
