The Centre for Distance Education has started functioning on the campus in 1994 as sister organization to offer post-graduate diploma programmes of one year duration through distance mode. Majority of the participants are drawn from academicians, industrialists, bureaucrats, other central government and state government employees and unemployed youth from different parts of India. Presently, the CDE is offering the following Post-Graduate diploma programmes for the academic year 2007.
