Admission for the MBA (Travel & Tourism) Course 2009

Instructions To Candidates

The counseling and admission to MBA (Travel & Tourism) Course is scheduled as given below:

Venue : School of Management Studies,CUSAT Main Campus, Kochi-22
Reporting Time : 9.30 AM on 8-9-2009
Commencement of Classes : The Classes for the First Semester MBA travel and Tourism will commence on 9th September 2009.

Please bring your downloaded E-Admit Card at the time of counseling. You have to produce the following documents in original along with attested copies of each at the time of counseling.

1. Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate
2. Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate
3. 10th Standard Certificate
4. Mark lists of all years/semesters of the Qualifying Degree Examination
5. Migration Certificate in respect of candidates who have studied last in Institutions outside the state of Kerala
6. Conversion table obtained from the institution, in case of candidates who have grade points instead of marks.
7. Income & Community Certificate from the Village Officer issued after the date of notification of the course, in case of candidates from Backward Community who are claiming reservation under SEBC (Non Creamy Layer Certificate is not sufficient).
8. Valid document(s) to prove Keralite status, if applicable.
9. BPL Certificate issued by Panchayat/Municipality/Corporation and Community Certificate issued by Village Officer in the case of candidates belonging to forward communities claiming reservation under BGN (Economically Backward Class among Forward Caste) Quota
10. Community Certificate issued by Tahsildar in case of SC/ST Candidate
11. Certificate from Medical Board in case of candidates seeking admission under Physically Handicapped Quota.
12. Certificate proving proficiency in Sports, if selection is under Sports Quota.
13. Three copies of all original certificates / documents [attested by Gazetted Officer] mentioned above.
14. Candidates with certificates (Qualifying examination) not in English transcript should invariably produce a translated version of the same in English endorsed by Notary Public

General Rs. 31,260/-
SC/ST/OEC Rs. 3,575/-

Note:
1. Please note that candidates awaiting results of any supplementary examinations are not eligible for admission.
2. Refund of Fees – as per UGC /AICTE guidelines as approved by the University.
3. Parent/Guardian accompanying the candidate is compulsory for all candidates
4. The selected candidates should submit the original certificates and mark lists at the time of admission . The candidates who are likely to get admission are avised to keep sufficient copies of the documents with them.
