ELIGIBILITY

For PGDM - Executive Batch

1. Any recognised bachelor degree in any discipline of 3 years with minimum 50% marks & minimum of 5 years of relevant managerial/supervisory experience. Qualitative requirement published earlier in the advertisement of newspapers stand corrected. Those with less experience can apply for fresher batch.

2. Only those who have more than five (5) years of industrial work experience are only eligible to apply for our PGDM - Executive Batch (Full Time). These applicants should submit the industry experience certificate signed by the Director (HR) of the Company / Companies and copies of their Appointment Letters along with the application form.

For PGDM courses (other than PGDM Executive Batch)

1. A Graduate from any statutory University with a track record of 60% of marks i.e. minimum of 60% in 10th std., 12th std. and Graduation. (55% for SC/ST and physically disabled candidates).

2. Candidates appearing for the final year Degree examination up to June 2009 can also apply. However, if they fail to match the above qualitative requirement when the result is declared for the graduation examination, they will be relieved from the course compulsorily. Same will be the case in respect of those who fail in their degree examination. The mark sheets should be submitted to the Institute latest by 1/11/2009.

3. Candidates passing degree examination by part time/distance learning/ correspondence/open school/externally or in one sitting are not eligible.

OR valid CAT/XAT/ JMET/ ATMA/GATE/MAT scores taken after January 2007, will be acceptable in lieu of NICMAR Written Test. Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) invites Applications from Indian nationals for research program scheduled to commence from August 2008 in the following areas of basic sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria :

First Class or 60% marks (55% for SC / ST) in M.Sc. in Chemistry / Physics / Biochemistry / Material Science/ Life Sciences /Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science or M. Stat or equivalent. Students with B. Tech. or equivalent degree in Engineering Physics / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering /B.Pharma / M.Pharma / MBBS degree may also apply for research programs in Physics and Life Sciences.

Other criteria :

The applicants should have qualified through NET / GATE / JEST or equivalent examination and the selected students with valid score are eligible for fellowship from IISER Pune. Students with valid UGC-CSIR JRF are eligible for fellowship directly from UGC or CSIR. Candidates must attend the interview before selection for doctoral program, the dates of which would be informed to the short-listed candidates. Candidates who have appeared for qualifying degree examination are eligible to apply, and must submit the attested qualifying degree certificates / final transcripts before joining (Deadline: 30th September, 2008). Age: Not more than 28 years as on 1st August 2008 (Born on / after 01.08.1980). Age will be relaxed by 5 years for SC / ST candidates.
