Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University invites applications from the eligibl candidates for the Entrance Test for admission into the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Programme, 2008-09 academic year.

Duration: Two years.

Medium of Instruction: Telugu.

Eligibility: (A) B.A./ B.Sc./B.Com /B.Sc. Home Science-/ BCA/BBM/BBA from any University recognized by U.G.C.

Experience: (B) Should have a minimum of two years teaching experience as on 01-09-2008 as a full time regular teacher or as a temporary teacher in any Primary/Middle/High school recognized by State /Central Government/ Govt. of India Union territories.
Or
Candidates who have experience in clause 2- mentioned above & appear for the final year degree examination conducted by any University recognized by U.G.C are also eligible to appear for the Entrance Test. Such candidates must submit their original degree certificates at the time of admission.

The B.Ed. Programme will be offered from the following five programme centres:

Hanumakonda, Warangal.

903 - St. Mary’s Centenary College of Education,
Gnanapuram, Visakhapatnam.

904 - Institute of Advanced Study for Education,
B-Camp, Kurnool.

905 - A.L. College of Education, Guntur.

Cost of Application form: Rs. 300/-

How to obtain Application form:

A) In person: Application forms can be obtained by submitting a DD from a nationalized bank for Rs:300/- drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University”, Hyderabad between 11.00 a.m and 4.30 p.m from the University Headquarters at Road No.46, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad – 500 033, on all working days or at the Regional Coordination Centres (RCC) listed below between 11.00 a.m and 4.30 p.m on all working days except Mondays and Tuesday immediately following the Second Saturday. Cash will not be accepted.

B) By Post: The application can also be obtained from the Director, Student Services Branch, Road No.46, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad- 500 033 by sending a crossed Demand Draft from a nationalized bank for Rs:330/- drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University”, payable at Hyderabad towards the cost of application and postal charges.

Commencement of Sale of Application Forms: 29-08-2008.

Last Date for sale and submission of filled in forms: 30-09-2008

Date of Entrance Test: 26-10-2008. Time: 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM.
