MCA Admission Test-2009 (MCAAT-2009)


For Admission to MCA 3 Years (6 Semesters) Course

Applications are invited for admission to MCA 3 Years (6 Semesters) Course (60 Seats) running under Self Financing Scheme in the University Centre for Computer Science & Information Technology, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. MCAAT-2009 will be held on Saturday, June 06, 2009 during 9.00 AM to 11.00 AM at Jaipur only

Eligibility

The Candidates must possess (10+2) at School level with Mathematics and Graduation (3 years duration) in any Subject from any recognized University or Graduation (10+2+3 years duration) in any Subject with Mathematics as one subject from any recognized University or B.C.A./B.E. from any recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST and OBC Candidates) without any approximation in the Qualifying Examination. However, the Candidates appearing for the Qualifying Examination (Graduate Degree) will also be permitted to appear in the Admission Test, but their admission will be provisional subject to furnishing the degree of qualifying examination with the prescribed eligibility as per University rules. Candidate has to submit the photocopy of the mark sheet within 7 days after declaration of the result of qualifying examination.

Reservation of Seats

As prescribed by the Govt. of Rajasthan, the reservation of seats will be made subject to the prevalent statutory provisions i.e. as per relevant rules and regulations of Govt. of Rajasthan viz. 16% for SC Candidates, 12% for ST Candidates and 21% for Candidates belonging to OBC Category. In addition to the above, there will be horizontal reservation of 3% for Candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped defined as Deaf/Dumb/Blind/Loss of any limb with permanent disability. There is an additional reservation for Kashmiri migrants by the way of 1(case) seat as per State Govt. rules.

Last date of Submission of Application Forms : May 30, 2009 (upto 4.30 PM sharp)
Date for Admit Cards to be collected by the Candidates from Director’s Office : June 05, 2009 (11.00 AM to 4.30 PM)
Date and Time of Examination : June 06, 2009 9.00 AM to 11.00 AM
Date of Counseling : June 15, 2009
