Admission Notification for vacant seats in "Bachelor Of Prosthetics & Orthotics Course"

Application are invited from Maharashtra and Outside Maharashtra candidates to fill up a few vacant seats for Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics course conducted at All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Mumbai – 34 affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. for the Academic year 2008 –2009.

Maharashtra Candidates

Eligibility :

Candidates who have passed 12th Std/10+2 from Maharashtra withMH-CET 2008 .

Entrances test / Interview

Schedule for Maharashtra candidates :-

1) Last date of submission of application is 25th October,2008. (up to12.30P.M)
2) Display of merit list as per score in MH-CET 2008 is on 27th October,2008.
3) Joining of selected candidates is on 29th October,2008 on payment of prescribed fee and submission of required original certificates
4) Joining in residual vacant seats as per merit list on 30th October,2008 as per merit list of 27th October, 2008.

Outside Maharashtra Candidates

Eligibility :

1) Candidates who have passed 12th Std/10+2 from Outside Maharashtra with English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology /Mathematics or any other Examination recognized as equivalent thereto by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with minimum 50% marks in either Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together or Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics taken together. For SC/ST Candidates relaxed to 40% marks.

2) The candidates must be born on or before 01/01/1991. The S.S.C. (10th Std.) or equivalent examination certificate clearly endorsing the date of birth will constitute valid proof.

Entrances test / Interview

Schedule for Outside Maharashtra candidates :-

1) Last date of submission of application is 25th October,2008. (up to12.30P.M)
2) The Applicants are required to appear in an Interview with all their original certificates at Room no.214 of this Institute at 9.30 am on 29th October 2008.
3) Those who are selected will have to take admission is on same day i.e. 29th October ,2008 on payment of prescribed fee and submission of required original certificates failing which the next candidates on the waiting list will be given admission is on 30th October, 2008.

NOTE :-
i) Reservation : As per Prevailing Provisions at Government of India Institutes and as amended from time to time.
ii) Application forms & Prospectus :
Can be obtained between 9.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m. from Monday to Friday from Academic Section of this Institute against Demand Draft of Rupees 100/-.
Can also be downloaded from Institute website www. aiipmr.gov.in and forwarded to Institute alongwith Demand Draft of Rs.100/-.
Demand Draft to be drawn in favour of “Director, All India Institute of Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation, Mumbai – 34.” Payable at Mumbai.
Payment in any other form will be rejected.
iii) NO CALL LETTERS will be issued to the candidates to appear for the Interview / Entrance Test on dates as mentioned above for outside Maharashtra candidates.
Candidates have to appear for the interview / entrance test at their own expenses and to arrange for their own accommodation in Mumbai.
