The 2 year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management is ITM's Flagship Masters Program in Business. The PGDM is an AICTE approved program, offered at four ITM campuses:

Eligibility Criteria:

Graduates in any discipline with 50% minimum marks from any university recognized by the Association of Indian Universities are eligible. Candidates in their final year of graduation may also apply.

Having Work Experience is not a requirement for admission to the program, however candidates with work experience are welcome.

Purchase an Application Kit

The PGDM 2009-11 Application Kit may be acquired at a cost of Rs. 200/-

The Processing Fee, to be submitted along with the application, is Rs. 800/-

Program fees are payable only at the time of accepting admission.

The selection process for all ITM Business School campuses is centrally conducted at ITM Business School, Navi Mumbai.

The Application Kit, which contains the PGDM prospectus and other materials is a definitive source of information about ITM Business School and the program.

There are several ways to purchase an Application Kit :

In-Person: Candidates may purchase an Application Kit for Rs.200/-from:

Application Procedure :

Candidates seeking admission to ITM Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) need to fill up separate application forms for CAT & ITM.

The admission form should be duly filled out in its entirety and must be accompanied with the following supporting documents:

1.Processing fee of Rs. 800/- in the form of a Demand Draft in favor of "Institute for Technology and Management", payable at Mumbai.
2.Photocopies of all mark sheets (starting with standard X)
3.Photocopies of CAT/XAT/GMAT admit cards
4.Attested copy of your Test Score Card. (if test score card not yet received give details of Test Registration Number, Test Centre Code, etc.)
5.Photocopies of Proof of Work Experience, if any
6.Medical Record Form
7.Scholarship Form (if applying for scholarship)
8. address labels (included) with your correct mailing address
9.Six passport photographs

Selection Process:

The Admissions Committee for the PGDM program consists of the Chairman of Admissions, The Chairman of ITM Trust and the individual Directors of each ITM PGDM Campus.

Please note: No Capitation or donations are accepted for the PGBM (or any ITM program) under any circumstances. There are no seat quotas for ethnic minorities and no payment category. Selection to the ITM PGDM program is based exclusively on the candidates merit and the discretion of the Admissions Committee.

Selection into the ITM PGDM program at all Campuses is conducted centrally through ITM Navi Mumbai.

Group Discussion/Personal Interview:

Several Group Discussion & Personal Interview sessions will be conducted starting in February 2009. For selected candidates, the intimation for interview & group discussion is done through registered post and e-mail.

The selection criteria for calling candidates for Group Discussion & Personal Interviews and final admissions is based on multiple factors as follows:

Past academic performance
Quality & content of the answers in the application form
Work experience, if any, in terms of job content & organization
Group Discussion & Interview performance
Extra curricular activities, other interests & accomplishments
CAT/XAT/GMAT score

A combination of all the above factors are used to determine the eligibility of candidates to be called for interview/group discussion and offered final admission. CAT/XAT/GMAT score is NOT the only criteria for selection in ITM.

A high test score does not guarantee a call for Group Discussion/Interview. The selection criteria are based on multiple factors as mentioned above.

Last Date to submit Application for PGDM 09-11: March 31st, 2009

Last date to submit Scholarship Application: December 31st, 2008
