Hakim Ajmal Khan was born in 1863 in Delhi. His family, a distinguished line of physicians, descended from the army of Babur, the founder of the Mughal Empire in India. Ajmal Khan was a noted Indian freedom fighter, renowned physician and educationalist. He was the founder of the Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi. He is the only person to have been elected President of both the Indian National Congress and the Muslim League.

Gopinath Bordoloi (1890-1950) was the first man from the entire northeastern region of the country to be awarded the Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award. He was the first Chief Minister of the Indian state of Assam, and also a leading Indian freedom-fighter. He was a follower of the Gandhian principle of non violence as a political tool.

Gopinath Bordoloi was born on 1890. He completed his graduation from the scottish church college, Calcutta. He was influenced by Gandhiji and joined Indian National Congress. He participated in several campaigns in the freedom movement.He displayed his ability as a leader and held some crucial posts in the congress party. In 1946 he was selected as the member as the costituent assembly of india.

Gopal Krishna Gokhale (1866-1915) was an Indian nationalist leader, President of the Indian National Congress born May 9, 1866, in Kothluk, Maharashtra, India died in 1915 was one of the founding social and political leaders during the Indian Independence Movement against the British Empire in India. Gokhale was a senior leader of the Indian National Congress and the Servants of India Society.
